From what I have gathered and read online is that the V1 and V2 of this router use the same hardware and the chipset drivers are supported for both. So I guess you can safely flash this router with dd-wrt meant for v1 version. If you look at the files on dd-wrt's beta ftp server, the V1 and V2 images are identical.
